How to choose the right Cornhole?

Cornhole may be a friendly game, accessible to all, but it’s important that it’s well-made, so that entertainment is enjoyable and players can get the most out of their game. So your Cornhole must meet a few essential criteria.

  • Solidity of the boards: you can’t play with cardboard boards that bend under the weight of the bags. The wood must be thick enough and treated to avoid the risk of splinters during play and transport. Prefer a plywood Cornhole. For the pro, 3/4-inch (18mm) board is standard. That’s what we offer.
  • The bags’ sturdiness: the seams and fabric used must also be able to stand up to wear and tear. Although Cornhole doesn’t call for brutal throws, some players may become irritated during the game.
  • A Cornhole board must meet the size requirements of the game. An “improved” board could distort results during the game.
  • The standard set is 48 inches long, but the lighter, shorter 36-inch sets will give you just as much satisfaction for amateur play by the fire or with a good beer.
  • If you want to play the sport professionally or at an advanced level, an investment in a standard 48-by-24-inch set is the way to go, along with 6×6-inch pockets.
  • Sports enthusiasts will also want bags with 2 sides, including a suede side and a regular surface, for better control of throws and sliding on surfaces.
We’ve designed the perfect starter kit for you, so you’ll need to invest a little more, but you’ll have a game that will stand the test of time, whether you’re an amateur or a pro. What’s more, our Special Cornhole LX kit includes everything you need to start playing fast and in style.
